equal pay equal work?

If 2 people have different jobs titles, one is ranked higher and makes more money, is it legally fair for them to have identical duties, responsibilities and identical job descriptions?

Hmmm.

Alex Rodriguez plays 3B for the Yankees and his salary is $33 million. Ramiro Pena also playes 3B for the Yankees. His salary is $400,000.

Identical duties, responsibilities and job descriptions.

Generally speaking, there is freedom of contract between employer and employee, except in a few limited circumstances.
