Felony background

I am currently enrolled in a school for hotel mgmt and I am just about finished with an associates in hospitality mgmt. My question is: can I be hired in a hotel with a felony conviction? My crime was vehicular manslaughter..

There is no legal bar to your being hired. Actual may be more difficult. You may benefit from a certificate of relief from civil disabilities. If you would like to obtain one, you may contact my office for help.

You should also contact your state Assemblyman and Senator and tell them you would support an expungement statute.
