Did i get fired or did i guit?

i recently was told that i was to be let go due to the fact an ex employee may sue.now i am unemployeed . unemployment called and refused unemployment ins. due to me quiting my job.1stwhat do i give for a reason on my applications?

2nd do i have any options to get a job i loved back?

I don't know, did you? Did you have a hearing with unemployment insurance or were you just informed that it was being denied. Also was there any severance attached with your leaving. Your chances of getting the job back are not good unless you had a contract or were in a union and filed a grievance. Also if you quit you have no rights as far as getting your job back or wiht respect to the contract, other than those you may have negotiated when you left.

What you would say on job applications depends on the circumstances, or you could leave that portion blank.
