Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
Can I be fired when totally disabled?
My question is:
I was terminated from a sales job when deemed totally disabled by 2 doctors following two spinal surgeries, and received disability payments 5 months even after they terminated me due to downsizing they say.
According to the ADA, they say that they can do this?
A person who is totally disabled should not be allowed to be terminated in my eyes.
Isn't there any rights for the totally disabled?
Any recourse - left for
