I just got fired after 16 years...why?...Well I asked for the rest of the day off which was 3 hours left....they gave me it...but then they gave me a week off with no pay, and when I came back on monday they fired me. Do I have a case here?....If yes how much can I sue up to? and how long can I wait so that I can sue?

Based on the limited information you provided, it appears that you do not have a case under the prevailing laws for wrongful termination. This, howver, is not the final answer. What you may need to do is examine your memory for a possible unlawful reason for your job loss, such as, race, age, diability, sex, gender or whistleblowing on a public concern.
