Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

i've had a fulltime unionized job for 2 1/2 yrs, working 3:30pm - 12 am 5-6days a week. I have a fulltime job now in the daytime where i work 7am- 3pm as well. Can my night job force me to work days after 2 1/2yrs of consistency in hours?

No one can force you to work, but if you refuse to accept the new shift you may be fired and you would have no recourse unless you had an agreement with your employer that you would only be required to work nights.

Good luck!
