Harrassment of corporation and officer of the corporation by

It is my understanding that a ''free lancer service provider'' claiming to be an employee is guity of harrassment if the ''free lance service provider ''

1. Files a claim with the department of labor against a corporation and an officer of the corporation claiming she was an employee

2. At the same time files a lawsuit against the company both personally corporately on the same matter claiming the same

3. Makes a complaint to the irs about the corporation and the individual claiming the same

4. Writes a letter threatening to do all of the above if money is not paid

question..

Are there new york state labor department guidelines stating that this is harrassment ?

Where can one find those guidelines?

Is the employee's lawyer also guilty of harrassment?

I am sorry but my cap lock is stuck

Re: Harrassment of corporation and officer of the corporation by

Your questions are unanswerable without more information. Who is the complainant? What is he/she complaining about? Is there merit to the complaint? What are the companys defenses to the complaint(s)? Making a complaint may be protected by law, or may be the basis for a defamation lawsuit, but without much more information, I cannot answer any of your questions. If you wish to discuss your concerns in detail, you may call the office to arrange a consultation at (914) 949-6323.
