heart attack at work

my employer pays me from the time i leave my home,i am concidered working at that time. on my way to work i suffered a heart attack, am i intitled to workmans comp or do i have to use my sick time, vacation time and personal time as they have told me.

Good question. Generally commuting time to and from work are not considered work and not eligible for workers comp for work related injuries. Your situation may be different you should speak to an attorney who specializes in workers comp claims for a consultation.
