Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
Hi, I was hired in Israel 7 years ago to work for an American company that is located all over the Caribbeans Mexico and Alaska. The "mother" company is based in NYC. I was recently fired, without compensations, andthe company still owe me over 40K from my salary in 2012. Can I sue in the USA? I worked for the same company in different countries in the Caribbeans over the years, at their request. You can contact me at [email protected]

Multinational corporations typically have subsidiaries that operate locally in the country where the company is situated, so you may have been hired by a subsidiary of the parent company. As such you may be able to sue in NY but the matter needs to be reviewed by an attorney.
