If an investigator has evidence against you, do they have to tell you what their evidence is?

If it is a private investigator then you have no recourse. If it is a government investigator then you must wait until the final conclusion of his investigation before you can request a copy of his report. If its a government investigator you have the right to ask and to know if you are the subject of a criminal investigation or an investigation where a property interest is at issue.
