I've working for a company for 4

years as Regional Publisher, i was

hurt on the job in July 07, then again

at the end of Jan early Feb 08. I was

fired on 2/22/07 after telling my

supervisor that i was going in for

another surgery on 2/27/08. They

offered me a 6 week severance pkg

which I refused, and now I went to

get medication found out my health

insr was canceled. I have NOT

received a Cobra offer or termination

package.. I am seeking council and

have met with several attorney's..

can you give me any advice.. My life

has gone from an amazing athlete to

crutches and severe back pain.. as

well EVERY one of my clients have

offered to testify for me and have

written me letters on their own.

I am so sorry to hear of the ordeal you are going through. While there may be other reasons your employer may offer for terminating you, it certainly appears suspicious under the circumstances. Do not sign anything, including a severance package, without having an attorney review it for you.
