Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Labour unions

Can some one PLEASE tell me who monitors the labor unions. Our work union refuses to address issues with us....directing us to go to management. We have requested a union meeting with out eval. They out righr refuse. We pay dues and all they do is take our our money. Changes at work are made with out a vote or opion of it memberes. We have tried petitions with majority of memebers(90%) wanting meeting...ect with out avail. Who polices the unions? I can find no one to help me

It depends,unions representing workers in private sectors are under the NLRB jurisdiction. Public employye unions are under different state and local boards.
