Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
Paid in error
I live and work in NY state and I recently switched jobs. This morning I did my banking, and found that my old company direct deposited my account with my biweekly amount minus applicable taxes. This is 4 weeks to the day after my last day working there. What does NY state law (or federal law if it applies) say about this type of situation?
