Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
I recently resigned from a bank in new york to accept a similar position with another bank. I sent an e-mail from my personal e-mail account notifying myu contacts and customers from the bank of my departure and new position. I mistakingly forgot to blind copy the recipients (eg - I used "To" instead of "bcc").
The question is did i breach any confidentiality issues with my former employer by allowing all the recipients to see each other's e-mail address? No other information was disclosed.
