Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

i am currently being under review at work for "apparent innapropriate behavior/ comments, the H.R. department has been questioning my fellow coworkers without my "knowledge" i am not supposed to know this is happening, what rights do i have. they are trying to build a case in order to prevent at will firing, what can i do, what rights do i have and how do i approach this?

You essentially have no rights during the investigative stage with respect to employment matters. It is best that you cooperate as best as you can -this does not mean that you have to accept liability for any wrongdoing. If there is going to some final interview or mediation, speak privately with an attorney before you make a final decision.
