Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
I have a separation agreement that the employer I was working for last wants me to sign. They are afraid I'm going to sue them because I couldn't go back to my position I had with them. I've been off work since June 2014 and they have been treating my neck surgery/injury area with all the conservative methods they could think of. The surgery I had for this didn't work like it should have. I now need a sedentary job and I can't find one in my area or even the surrounding areas. Should I go ahead and sign the agreement or not?
