Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

On sept 28 one of the partners wanted me to work overtime and I said no because I had to get my son and she asked me what would happened if I was late and I told her he would go to police station and she asked me to stay for a few hours and pick him up from the station. Anonther problem was another partner wanted to get on my hands and knees to clean his office because he had client coming to the office and that is not part of my job and the office manager did not do anything to fix the problem. I am the only person who has child there and they been giving me problems the office manager told me I need to find I daycare place to benefit there needs they want me to work from 9 am to 4 am and I can't do that I have a family they let me go on feb 1 because I didn't want to work the way they work do I have a case because I have things document since I worked there

Your question raises more questions. Were you being paid overtime for the extra hours you worked (over 40 hours/week)? Overtime means time and a half your hourly wage. How long did you work there? Were you the only one in the office with your particular title? Do you believe you were the victim of discrimination based upon your status as a mother of an infant?
