is severance due?

I work for union plant that will be closing in Dec2004.

the company has made an agreement for severance with the union that would pay 3 weeks wages for every year of service.

If i leave with notice for another job, am I still entitled to the severance?

Since the operation is being moved to Mexico,China and another state side NON-union facility, do I have any rights to re-education or re-training funds?
