Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
I own a small business. My superviser got into a pushing/yelling match with an employee. Both were wrong but the employee is threatening to sue my company. He went to the hospital but he was fine. I think he's looking to take advantage.

The company and/or you may in fact be liable. It depends on the circumstances and the history of each employee. Therefore, going forward you should, among other things, provide relevant notices to each employee. Since you probably don't have an HR director, you should consider having an attorney provide these notices.
This should be an expensive proposition and I would be happy to assist you with this matter. Feel free to contact my office at your earliest convenience.
