Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
I am a software consultant in New York City. While still working on a project I decided to call it quits; the project lasted for 7 and a half months. I was getting paid regularly on a bi-weekly basis. When making my employer aware of my wishes to quit, with a 4 day notice, he told me that I can stop working immediately. I did so, but was never paid for the last two weeks of work. What action can I take to get get paid for my last pay term?
