Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I started a new job on August 15th, part of the terms of the new job was that I would be on a 3 month probationary stage and eleigleable for benefits after I come off on November 15th. Well I have contact the HR dept out of corporate office in NY numerious times starting on October 27th requesting information in regards to my benefits. It is now December 18th and I still have not received the information requested regarding my benefits, and I am wndering if I have any legal recource?

If you have a written contract you have a very good chance of enforcing the terms of your agreement with your employer.
