Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

suspension

On Jan 12, 2006 I was suspended because of some allegations one week later they called me in and told me that the allegations were unfounded. That I needed to remain suspended because they had an internal aduit to do.

it has been three weeks going on four and I have not heard anything Can they legally do this. Oh I forgot to mention that the suspension is without pay.

Re: suspension

It depends who you are working for and, if you belong to a union, whether the suspension is part of your collective bargaining agreement.

Feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.
