I've been working at a company for 7 months. After 3 months I was promoted from receptionist to case manager. 1 month after my promotion I informed my supervisor I was pregnant. In Mid September we were told the program will be closing. I was asked to work late on many occassions to help out without overtime. I became overworked and stressed in turn I began getting sick. I had sick days and personal days to cover my absences. I also called in and brought documentation. I was terminated as of 10/23/02 because of excessive absence. I was beginning the process of filing my disability papers but I was terminated prior to it coming thru. Is this legally correct?
