Was told I was being laid off in May
In May of this year, My supervisor told me that I was going to be laid off. We had a discusion about it and the various options I had. Then, he called a team meeting and told everyone on my team that I was being laid off. From May to August, I was expecting an end date at any time. now my supervisor says he didnt feel like filling out the paper work, While I am left in limbo. The company gives specific project bonuses when some one is laid off (25% salary). I have literally nothing to do at work - does the company still have to lay me off since it told me, and the team?

They probably have no obligation to lay you off. Are they still paying you even though you have no responsbilities? You may have grounds for a constructive discharge, which while it would not provide you with internal benefits, could provide you with unemployment benefits if you are separated from your job.
