Union Contract

If an employer violates the union contract which ultimately affects an employee, is that a breach of contract between the employer and the union or a breach of contract between the employer and the employee or a breach of contract against the union by the employee? In this case, an employee is charging age discrimination and is contemplating an additional charge for breach of contract against the employer.

If I understand the question, its is a breach of your rights as a union member.You generally must exhaust all your remedies within the union before looking elsewhere.
