violation of labor laws
i recently worked for a company that did not grant lunch breaks as required by nys labor law. have my rights been violated if so can i proceed with a case against this employer

In New York State, depending upon your employer and how long your shift is, you should have been given a lunch break. It may be helpful to discuss your situation with an attorney to find out if other rights have been violated, i.e. were you "docked" for a lunch break you never received?
