Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
I work for a call center for financial company. I feel deep down that I perform my job to the best of my ability. We have approx. 15 call center reps on the phone and we have to rotate to work until 7:00pm eastern time a couple of day during the month. Recently they decided that we will not spilit the days amoung the employees, but to rate each employee performance on a monthly basis and based on you performance determine how many 7:00 shift you will work. If you are doing poorly based on the dept standards you could have at least 6 late shift for that particular month. This interfers with my family and personal life, as this just does not seem fair and legal. Can someone help??

I would be happy to talk this matter over with you during the course of a free consultation. Please contact me at [email protected]. Call centers are notorious for failing to comply with federal and state regulations.
