Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I work for a company that made me sign a non compete. For several reasons I wish to go elsewhere for employment. The other company is still in the hearing aid business. How can the non compete be enforced? I need to make a living. They have forced me to run a new location, that is 70 miles a day driving time, and no compensation. In addition I am leasing a new vehicle, and really running up the miles. I have worked for this company for five years. I did express my concerns when they told me I was being relocated, due to my location closing. Please help!!!!

Thank you.

Under the circumstances, you "may" be able to defeat the non-compete clause in the agreement should your employer seek enforcement of the non-compete clause.
