Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I work in NYC doing customer svc from 9-630 with one hour paid lunch. i have 7 paid holidays off and 7 paid personal days to use for one year. meaning, if i go on vacation for 5 days I only have 2 days to call out sick until the next year. Someone told me that NYS law requires a minimum of 10 personal days off per year to be used however you choose? Can you shed some light on this situation?
