Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
I worked for a company for nearly 2 years and had to go on medical leave. I called to let them know I wanted to return they told me I was terminated. I did not get a letter or call telling me I was terminated.I asked why I was terminated and was told that in April they tried to call me once and didnt hear from me. I kept them up to date with my condition but never got a call or letter. I would like to know if I can sue for this?

This is becoming too common a violation of the FMLA. Of course, it all depends on the specific facts of your case. An employment law attorney, such as myself, can make a determination of whether you have a viable claim.
