Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Workers Pay

I work at a gas station and get paid on a weekly basis. I have been noticing that on my pay stubs my hours are altered. On one stub it says that I worked a total of 24 hours and 72 minutes. Considering the fact that there are only 60 minutes in an hour, I was wondering what I can do to fix this problem and help other employees as well?

Re: Workers Pay

Regardless of what your paystub says, are you being paid in accordance with your salary and hours? In other words, is it that your paystub reads "24:72" and you're being paid for 25 and 1/4 hours, or are you being shortchanged by your employer. There is a huge difference.
