Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
I was working for a company in New York for 15 yrs, then got laid off due to lack to business. Now after 6 mths the business has picked up and now they would like to rehire me. Is there a state law that states I cannot be rehired for 1 year since I recieved a 6 mths severence pay?

No and if you do not return to work this is likely to disqualify you from receiving further unemployment benefits -if any.
