wrongful termination after year meeting 100% of quota

i am an acct exec, rated top sales person in the company (isp provider). Recently i became aware of a false order that was being submited by one of the other acct execs. i was subsequenly repremanded after telling my superiors. Later that week The other sale exec, ''barry'', accosted me at my desk. I remained seated, and tried to calm the situation, it was then when i was assaulted by ''barry''. He punched my forehead, and then my right temple with enough force to produce visible and painful contusions on my face for 5 days after(Needles to say barry was imediately fired. however, even after calling my hr dept, no one in my company has done anything about the incident. I was being told by two of my superiors that i should keep quiet about the incient, and forget about it. two weeks have passed since i was assaulted, and yesterday i was fired. There is no reason i can see that would have led to my termination. I am the only acct exec at the company that got ANY orders alst month! what are my options?

Before I can give any meanigful response to your question, I need you to clarify some things that you say. First, who reprimanded you for teling your superiors about the "false order"? Second, you say that "Barry" was immediately fired after assaulting you, but then you say that the company did nothing about the incident. What do you mean? What, in addition to firing "Barry" do you think the company should have done? Please clarify.
