Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

Accident suit

On March 10, 2005, I fell due to the negligence of my landlord in New York. I did collect some money through her homeowner's insurance. My injury is quite extensive and due to the severity I have had another fall. My left has a metal plate and is extensively weak and goes numb on occasion. Can I sue her again? I now live in Nevada. Can I get any disabilty? I do not have a job due to my second fall.

Re: Accident suit

Unless the fall was on property owned by the original landlord, and they caused a negligent condition that made you fall the second time, no you cannot sue them, you released them from any future liability upon the condition of settling the first case.
