Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

I had asked if I needed a lawyer to have someone remove things from a place they don't live. I did send a certified letter to this person. I gave them 30 + days to remove their stuff. They have not tryed or made any kind of arrangements to remove it. I would like to know what are my options are now to get the stuff out?

You would have to commence a landlord tenant action (summary proceeding). This is through filing a Notice of Petition and Petition. You are petitioning the court for a Judgment of Possession and Warrant of Eviction. Once you obtain the warrant, you would contact either the Marshal or Sheriff to execute on the eviction.
