Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

Boyfriend from HeLL!!!!!!

I live in a 2 bedroom apt. with my sons and my boyfriend moved in with us in December due to no heat in his apartment. Since he has been living with me he has lost his job and made no attempt to find another one. I asked him to find another place to live. He's refusing to move out. It's unnerving be cause he stays home all day. We aren't no longer in a relationship. How can i legally get him out. He isn't on the lease. He does have all his mail coming to my address. HELP!!!!!!!

In essence you granted him a license to stay with you. Therefore, you would have to revoke his license and commence a landlord - tenant action to evict him.
