Breach of lease

I had my step brother added to my lease legally. I moved out and left my name on the lease.He has not paid the rent in four months, so now he was evicted for the amount of $3,500. Can I sue him to pay even though my name is still on the lease?

You cannot sue him to pay. If you are sued by the landlord, you can seek damages from him in an amount equal to the amount that is owed by the landlord.
