my ceiling fell on my head ,can i sue my landlord? if yes for what amount ,if no why not?

There are two parts to every action based on negligence: 1. Liability and 2. Damages.

To answer your question, it seems that the landlord may negligent in the maintenance of the ceiling. However, the issue is - where you damaged? If you were hurt, then the answer is yes, you would probably have a valid claim against the landlord.
