Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
change of dates in lease
If a landlord emails a letter stating that you are legally responsible for the apartment for one date and then later sends you a later stating he/she looked up your lease after the fact and found another date, which date are you responsible for since he/she wrote the email as an agreement and stated legal implications?

Re: change of dates in lease
The date on the actual lease controls unless it can be shown this was not the intention of the parties.
