damaged property
my car was damaged @ the housing developement i live at. they r rebuilding and told everyone they had until a certain day to remove ur vehicle well they trashed a few peoples cars before they could move them and now the management and tow comp r playing blame game. what can i do legally? the management says they thought it was junk bcause it wasnt registered or insured, but they didnt give the time that was posted to move they towed and trashed on the day we still had.

The towing company is the agent of the management - since management hired the towing company. Therefore, management is ultimately responsible.
However, you may bring an action against management and the towing company for negligence for the destruction of your automobile. If the vehicle was totalled, damages would be the fair market value of the vehicle.
