Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

My father died recently and I've lived with him for 10 years in his apt in NYC . One month before he died he was sent a lease renewal for our apt. Can I sign the lease renewal with his name on it or do I have to request a new one?

You would have to request a new lease renewal.
