Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
Fuel Oil/Heating
As a tenant with a month to month lease, I purchased 200 gals. =$538.00 of fuel oil on my account just before vacating the premises on 12/18/06. Is my landlord or the new tenants, whom I was told applied for heat assistance, responsible for reimbursing me? *Note: I had to pay my landlord directly for oil in the tank when I moved in 7yrs. ago.*

Re: Fuel Oil/Heating
It depends upon whom, if anyone, is using the heat which you purchased.
