Landlord wont repair
my apartment is on the second floor and it has no screens in the windows and i told the landlord repeatedly. also when i turn on my oven it also heats up the broiler.she refuses to fix anything and she also knows that their is asbestis in the basement. is this legal?

If you believe that the landlord has neglected to make repairs that he is required to (and it's questionable based on the facts you present wnether such repairs are required) you can bring a proceeding in Housing Court asking th e court to order the landlord to make the necessary repairs.
