Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
Landlord selling property
Landlord tried to evict due to retaliation. A settlement was made in court where I was offered 6 months free to stay in the apartment. Now he is selling the property. Is he allowed to do this? What are my rights here? I do not have a lease--just the court paper stating the day I have to move.

Re: Landlord selling property
You cannot be forced out prior to the date on the order. The incoming purchaser buys subject to the order.
