If rent is owed, absolutely.

Landlord is entitled to rent, the fact that there has been a renewal lease is inconsequential as to any previous debt. There may be several ways to assist in your situation...
1) are you on any public assistance?
2) how much debt is owed?
3) has the landlord filed a claim against you in court, and commenced an eviction procedure yet?
that being said, feel free to contact my office either via phone or email so that we may further discuss this situation. 2127098303
