First, do not panic. There must be a court order to evict you and you will get a chance to defend the action.

1. They must first give you a 'notice of eviction'. Since this landlord has sold the building, the new owner is the one who must give the notice.

2. The new owner bought the building with your lease intact. You are the tenant of the new owner under the terms (rent amount, etc) from the old lease.

3. The lease ends on the same date it did before.

If they do try to evict you, I recommend defending with a lawyer.

Your rights are spelled out in your lease, assuming you have one. That's the first place to check. If you don't have a lease then, by law, you are a month-to-month tenant and your landlord is only required to give you 30 days notice.

If you have a lease, you cannot be evicted before the lease terminates. If you have no lease you must be given at least 30-days notice prior to the start of the next rental period and the 90-day notice you were provided would be legally sufficient.
