Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

Lead found in child's system at one year check up then found in apartment

At his one year check up our son tested positive for lead. His level was 24.9. When a child's lead level is over 15 the

doctors have to inform the Health Department and they send somebody to check the house for lead. Lead was found in all the window sills and in the bath tub.

Also when we signed our lease we signed a statement named ''Disclouse of Information on Lead Based Paint and/or Lead Based Paint Hazzards'' on this paper there are checks by...Lessor has no knowledge of lead-based paint and/or lead based paint hazzards...Lessor has no reports or records pertaining to lead-based paint and/or lead-based paint hazzards in the housing...Leessee has recieved the pamphlet PROTECT YOUR FAMILY FROM LEAD IN YOUR HOME.

Do you think there is anything here worth persuing?
