Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
I'm on a lease with a complex that requires renters insurance. Upon renewing the lease the office secretary handling my paperwork was supposed to make sure I brought proof of insurance but let it process without checking back for the proof. Is this lease still binding?
