Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
Use Of A Microwave
I rent a room in NYC, I am always on time with my rent, there is no lease, and it is a week to week rental. I am not allowed to use the kitchen so I have my own George Foreman grill and a microwave in my room. The person I rent from is telling me I am not allowed to use these things? Is this legal? How am I supposed to eat? I cannot afford money wise or health wise to eat out all the time. I am not sure what to do in this situation.
Thanks for your help
