Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
My mother recently ( 5 years ago) purchased a mobile home in a park. She pays lot rent as someone else owns the land. Her mobile home has sunk into the ground about 8 - 9 inches because the ground is so saturated. Is this her responsibility to repair (lift the home and stabilize it) or is it theirs (since she is paying to have her house there)?
Thanks.

I would have to read the lease agreement to make that determination. However, if there is no lease agreement, I would think that it is your mother's responsibility.
